By using Shance you agree to these terms. They're short, so please read them.
The service
Shance is a free speed test and IP check service. We may change, pause or discontinue any part of it at any time.
Acceptable use
Use Shance to test your own connection. Don't:
- run automated or high-frequency tests, or use the test servers for load testing or as a download source
- embed the test servers in other websites or apps without our permission
- try to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorized access to the service
Each IP address has usage limits. If you exceed them, tests are paused for a while. We may block traffic that looks abusive.
Results
Results are estimates for reference only. They depend on your device, browser and network, and may differ from other tools or your provider's figures. Don't rely on them as the sole basis for decisions.
Third-party services
The IP check contacts third-party services and websites. We're not responsible for their availability, accuracy or practices.
No warranty
Shance is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any loss arising from using or being unable to use the service.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continuing to use Shance after an update means you accept the new terms.
